Professional Photographer’s
100-Year Anniversary
In 1907 the photographic journal that eventually would become Professional Photographer was born. Few could have predicted that the diminutive black-and-white volume Charles Abel edited and produced (entitled Abel’s Photographic Weekly) would one day become the largest paid circulation magazine in the professional photographic industry, and the official publication for the largest professional photographic trade association in the world, Professional Photographers of America. To celebrate our 100th anniversary, we have posted a few extras here not found in the pages of the magazine. Enjoy!
